After the external septo rhinoplasty, the septum is immobilized by silastic splints,merocel packs are inserted to prevent any bleeding, steristrips applied at the dorsum,and thermoplast splints are fixed in place.The merocel packs are removed after 24 hrs and the rest after one week.The sutures also removed after one week.
