Nasal douche-Nasal Lavage- Nasyam-Alkaline nasal wash
Having a stuffy dry or runny nose from a cold, flu or sinusitis is very uncomfortable.
Nasal douching-Ravage , uses warm saline to rinse out the nasal cavity. Salt water is very gentle on the soft tissue within the nose, and reduces the edema.
It is very useful after nasal surgery.
Recipe for do-it-yourself nasal wash.
Take 1 litre boiled and cooled mineral water
Add
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon soda bicarb
1 tablespoon glycerin
Mix it and keep in a clean bottle.
How to do Nasal douche
Stand by the wash basin.
Take the alkaline nasal solution in a 10 ml syringe.
Insert the tip of the syringe into the nasal cavity and instill the solution, let it run into the back of the nose and spit it out when it comes to the mouth.
Repeat the same several times.
