16 year old girl is having hearing loss in both ears due to blocked Eustachian tubes.There is large adenoid still present even at this age, called residual adenoid.This is causing ear aches and hearing loss.Also she has nasal blockage and recurrent colds.She is a loud snorer too. Myringotomy and insertion of ventilating tubes are done in Jubilee Hospital, Trivandrum, by Dr.K.O.Paulose FRCS Consultant ENT Surgeon.This is done under a general anesthesia.
