Hearing loss in children due to acumilation of fluid behind the ear drum is removed by a minor surgical procedure called Myringotomy. A ventilation tube called grommet is inserted after myringotomy.
This is done in Jubilee Christian Mission Hospital Trivandrum Kerala South India.
