Here a military person working in Northern India came with hearing loss after otitis media with effusion and getting treated in Jubilee Hospital Trivandrum in South India.
Many of our military personnel are suffering from hearing loss in –Army, Navy and Air force. Noise induced hearing loss, Tinnitus, Barotrauma, Traumatic perforation from blasts etc.
Many of them don’t use ear protection devices. High Noise exposure in intense combat and gun fire can lead to permanent hearing damage and disability. Since I have worked in a military hospital for 18 years, I know what all damage can happen for the soldiers.
