Reinke’s edema, also known as polypoid degeneration, is the swelling of the vocal cords due to fluid collection and edema in superficial lamina propria of vocal cords which is called the Reinke’s space. Here the polypoid tissue is removed by Microdebrider.This is done under GA in Jubilee Hospital Trivandrum Kerala India.
