Rhinitis medicamentosa is a condition caused by over use of OTC nasal drops/sprays like oxymetazoline, phenylephrine, xylometazoline, and naphazoline etc . Once rhinitis medicamentosa is identified, topical decongestants use must be discouraged and discontinued as soon as possible. The different treatment modalities are explained in this video clip.
