Septoplasty is the the procedure to correct a crooked septum, it is not usually done on children before puberty. However, if the deviation is very severe, a partial or limited septoplasty can be done with caution.Long term issues are retarded mid face growth and saddle nose later in life.Here a 28 year old lady had septoplasty at the age of 12 but resulted in supra tip saddling and residual deviation which is being corrected now.
