Sleep Endoscopy allows to investigate snorers and Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndromes (OSAS) and is a very useful test before proceeding surgery. This is done after giving propofol or midazolam and sedating the patient. This allows a dynamic visualization of upper airway during an induced sleep to locate obstruction site and propose the appropriate treatment. This endoscopic procedure provides sufficient muscular relaxation causing upper airway narrowing and helps both surgeon and anesthetist in sleep disorder surgical management.
