God is sovereign. He can heal and often does through prayer, sometimes in conjunction with medical/surgical help. This is my belief and I always pray before all my patients before the surgery. It does give me great deal of “strength” to carry out my healing job.
If some patients ask me to pray, I do intercede, although I am not a righteous person like “Elijah” ….
