Lot of my patients comes far away places, not only other states in India but also outside India. There are Many five star hotels around the hospital-Mascot Hotel, South Park Hotel, Taj Residency, name a few.Before and after treatment , some like to stay few days and make use of their trip as a holiday too.
But for those who cannot afford five star accommodation, there is modest guest house which belongs to the church in Kovalam.This is 7-8 km from the hospital. This centre is situated at the Kovalam Junction itself.
The place is like a family home stay which is very pleasant and affordable. Please don\’t expect five star services. But the place is clean and comfortable. There are only 20 family rooms, with a large conference-Auditorium. There is big supermarket next to it where one can buy any thing you like. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are also served. Don\’t expect different menu like in a hotel. When I visited the place, lot of European visitors were staying there.
The number of staff is less, so demanding room service may be limited.
Tariff per day-
Family Room with out AC Rs 650 plus Rs 200(each person) for food.
Family Room with AC Rs 1000-1200 plus Rs 200 (each) for food.
