Nasal blockage can cause snoring, as the nose is blocked the patient tend to breathe thru the mouth and result in vibration of the uvula and soft palate which is the snoring sound.This condition can be associated with a deadly disease called Sleep apnea.
In sleep apnea the throat temporarily closes during sleep causing the snorer to wake violently owing to a lack of oxygen. It is a condition that is more common in overweight people. It causes extreme fatigue because the continual awaking of the sufferer results in many hours of sleep being lost.
Here the patient undergo nasal surgery:septoplasty, Coblation Turbinoplasty and middle meatal antrostomy under General anesthesia.
