Blessings are favor or gift bestowed upon us by God, thereby bringing prosperity and happiness in our life. To get the blessings from God there are certain rules or laws of life He has given us like the Commandments. If you wholeheartedly obey them, you will be blessed. The actions from our side disobeying these laws of life, blocks the grace of God and the blessings may be denied or delayed.
Many times our blessings may be delayed, but just because they are delayed does not mean that they will be denied. God is still working on you and me and the plans He has for us are good plans. The thoughts He has for us are good thoughts and it is God\’s perfect will for you to encounter the blessing of God in your home and family and life.
When God sees that you won\’t misuse or abuse the blessing and you heart is pure and “circumcised”, you have been changed and you are humble and ready to receive the blessing, He will bestow the abundance of the blessings.
Blessings may be delayed but not Denied
In the Old Testament Joseph was given a promise by God that one day he would rule. But then, for the next thirteen years everything went exactly opposite to the promise. As Joseph\’s life points out, even tragedy and evil can be part of God\’s plan for good. In God\’s time! – Joseph became ruler of all of Egypt!
God has a good plan for our lives also. Delay may not be not be a denial, so trust him even when life doesn\’t make sense.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
