Retrognathia Causing Snoring and Sleep Apnea
Retrognathia can cause airway to be somewhat obstructed leading to sleep apnea. A small or recessed lower jaw that may predispose to obstruction of the airway and sleep apnea. It is sometimes corrected through surgical advancement to move the jaw forward.
